Broken Trail is a rockin' 4-piece country band based in Western Washington.  It's been 12 years since the guys debuted on the Northwest scene - and they are stronger than ever and doing their part to save the honky-tonks.

A popular band in clubs, fairs, casinos, rodeos, and other events, they bring a full sound that features Mark Medalen on rhythm guitar and vocals, Andy Vance on lead guitar and vocals, Barry Bernier on drums and vocals, and Mike Anderson on bass and vocals. Gary Broers engineers and mixes the sound bringing a great balance to the music.

Broken Trail was born out of a mutual love for live country music, and more importantly, a demand for good bar-bands in Washington. Formed by Barry Bernier and Mark Medalen in 1996, Broken Trail quickly developed a large fan base devoted to their energetic live shows, fun stage presence, and most importantly, great song selection that appeals to dancers and music lovers of all ages. Their setlist is an education in country hits that covers countless artists and spans several decades. Covering classic artists such as Haggard, Jones, Paycheck, Cash, Waylon and Willie, Hank Sr. and Jr., and Buck, as well as “young country” artists including Brooks and Dunn, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Garth, Dwight, The Mavericks, Kentucky Headhunters, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Little Texas, and Tracy Byrd...just to name a few. While staying true to the roots of country music, Broken Trail puts their own signature sound and arrangements into every song they play.
